Racing: Gentlemans Grand Prix

This is a two-up team trial with a difference. The team is made up of one veteran and one other rider, riding in time trial team formation. The veteran is paced round the course by his/her partner and must remain as second rider throughout, only permitted to overtake for the last 200 yards. Two veterans may form a team but one must be the pacer and one the nominated veteran. This is a team handicap event and results are based on the age and gender of the paced rider using CTT standard target times. Quite simply – the older the veteran, the bigger the handicap!

First rider starts 8.30am
